Do you want to be a full AGM member and gain access to the other areas here [and other privileges on YCM / Neo]? If you do, please follow the instructions below.

1. Create your own thread here and title it "AGM Application - (your name)".

2. Fill out the below form in spoilers.

Show ContentPlease fill me out:

Try to keep it short as I don't want you writing text walls like I'm known for doing often [also the character limit]. If there are questions in the parentheses, you don't have to answer them directly but moreso are things that Draconus, myself and the other existent members should know. We want to get to know you better. I apologize for the form being long, but just fill in what you need to.

Please delete the parenthesized text.

3. Choose 1 of the following tasks.

A. Choose 1 of the generic cards in the Generics pool and make an archetype out of them. (There are a lot of them, including a few that may be considered SERIES in their own right.)
B. Adapt any of the archetype prompts from the game threads (though you will need to provide the archetype prompt).
C. Do a legacy support thing for any existing AGM archetypes. (There is a list of them in the original AGM thread, though efforts will be taken at a later time to import them here. All of mine are here though.)

4. Post your result as another thread in this section marked "AGM Submission - (Your Name)".

Saying this because of the character limit (which sucks). If you need to break up your stuff into multiple posts because of it, go ahead. However, it's advised to keep the archetype/support relatively small to account for that AND make it easier for us to judge. (You'd like to have less things counting against you rather than more.)

Draco or I will ask you which of these you have chosen in your application thread; you just need to pick 1 of them. There is no real deadline, though please try to get it in ASAP (maybe around 2-3 weeks). It isn't fair to require that you come up with an archetype in a day or two after applying, especially taking into consideration that we all have lives outside AGM and cannot devote our lives to card making.

5. Judging process.

Draco and I will look over your stuff and post our individual judgments in your submission thread. You will be given a second chance to fix any flaws that would otherwise bar you from getting accepted.

Due to the way Neo AGM works (obviously with lack of archetypes to work with and the amount of generics we have), you'll just be graded on general design.

Unlike certain members on YCM (you know who they are), I won't be a hardass on design or severely criticize your work. What I want to see are:
- Demonstration of good design principles
- Overall theme/usability (does your stuff blend in with the Decks they're supposed to work with and are they worth a slot?)
- Spelling/grammar (Are you using terminology that exists in Yugioh?* Did you run spell check and did capitalization stuff?**)

* You may use either Series 9 or 10 PSCT in either hybrid (numbering system as done in OCG using PSCT) or standard (how cards are printed in TCG). Please refer to the page on Yugipedia or the old Yugioh Wikia for details.
** Seriously, please spell check. While cards are mostly written in US English, you won't be penalized if you use UK English.

(I am also aware that English is a secondary language for many of you, therefore you will not be marked down if your grammar is not perfect. To be fair, a few native speakers have issues with it; even some of the current YCM staff.)

6. If you need help, ASK!

While you will be expected to submit the archetype as your own product, it doesn't mean you're going in blind. If you wish to ask about how a certain card / archetype works, you are more than welcome to ask for a clarification.

Outside of that, once you get accepted, Draco or I will add you to the AGM Member group and you can start posting your archetypes and stuff.

We look forward to having you with us.

In terms of posting the thread goes, please make them in source mode so you don't have to deal with the random HTML that screws up everything.

As for the task, it may be easier to make an archetype/series for any of the generics, since you do have full access to everything (or least that much is complete). For the others, the archetype thread isn't really full on and the bulk of the archetypes are still on YCM.

Sizing-wise, try to make them a reasonable size (no more than 12-15). Do note that grading archetypes is time-consuming.

I suppose a friendly note that because Master Rule 5 came around, the AGM does have Link Monsters and stuff. Though it will probably be to your benefit to read how our format works.

Here, AGM runs on a slightly modified version of it, with the Pendulum Zones being where they were initially placed in Master Rule 3, separate from the original Spell/Trap Zones.

Also because the random HTML problem is gone now (but we got the registration issue at this stage).
