Flash Flyer - Sakura+ Remake a Card +
#41
Elemental HERO Escuridão
DARK - Level 8 - Warrior/Fusion/Effect - 2500/2000
1 "Elemental HERO" monster + 1 DARK monster
This card gains 100 ATK for each "HERO" monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, if this card that has gained ATK by its own effect battles your opponent's monster: Decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by the amount of ATK this card gained, also negate that opponent's monster's effects. Once per turn, if this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, you can target 1 "HERO" monster you control: It gains 1 additional attack during each Battle Phase this turn. If this card leaves the field by a card's effect, you can target 1 Level 8 or lower "HERO" monster in your Graveyard, except "Elemental HERO Escuridão": Special Summon that target, ignoring Summoning conditions.

Changelog:
●Removed the dumb limitation
●Boosts for, and can be Fusion Summoned with, all HEROes, not just Elemental.
●Drops the stats of your opponent's entire board by its personal boost permanently every time it battles, bringing everyone closer to OTK range, and can let literally any HERO double-attack should it get a kill.
●Negates the effects of whatever it battles, practically daring someone to not read it and try to hit it with Borrelsword.
●Floats into literally any other Level 8 or lower HERO upon effect removal or use as Fusion fodder, including but not limited to Plasma, Flame Wingman, every single Masked HERO, base Neos Fusions, Ab0 . . .

1) Card of Sanctity (Got done dirty, becoming arguably the worst draw card of all time)
2) Amazoness Willpower
3) Battle Eater (see above)
4) Frightfur Chimera
5) Rokket Synchron

Think we can all agree about Card of Sanctity b/c the cost is trash.

Card of Sanctity
Normal Spell
At the start of your Main Phase 1: Draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot draw any cards by card effects.

Well, this is as close as you are getting to its full power without making it busted. Uh....actually, this one is probably more busted since opponent gets zippo. At least itʻs always live and you are not killing self just to fizzle.

Frightfur Chimera
(Can all agree it sucks compared to anime, but I think even that one was bad)

Frightfur Chimera
DARK - Level 8 - Fiend/Fusion/Effect - 2800/2000
3 "Frightfur" monsters
Must first be Fusion Summoned using the above Materials, and cannot be Fusion Summoned by other ways. If this card battles, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Battle Phase. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle: You can Special Summon that monster to your field, it is treated as both a "Frightfur" and a "Fluffal" monster,, but its ATK is halved. This card gains 300 ATK and one additional attack on a monster during your Battle Phase for each face-up "Frightfur" monster you control. During your Battle Phase, you can Tribute 1 face-up "Frightfur" monster you control: Special Summon 1 "Frightfur" monster from your Graveyard with a different name than the Tributed monster. You can only activate this effect of "Frightfur Chimera" once per turn.

Changelog:
●Didn't need to be a nomi, now just locks it into being Fusion Summoned legitimately- no Versago or Instant Fusion-esque shenanigans- first.
●Locks down effects for the rest of the Battle Phase, letting your other toys go to town if Chimera attacks first.
●Doesn't have to send the monsters it knocks out to the Graveyard, just yoinks them regardless.
●Gets an extra swing every time it knocks something out, and also converts all stolen monsters into Frightfurs and Fluffals for Flash Fusion shenanigans. Also boosts off of every Frightfur that isn't itself, making for frequent forays into 4K ATK.
●Lets you Tribute off something stolen to revive a dead Tiger, Kraken, or whatever else you might need.

1) Spiral Spear Strike
2) Amazoness Willpower
3) Battle Eater (anime-only)
[DARK - Level 7 - Warrior/Effect - 2300/0
If your opponent's monster declares an attack with a monster whose ATK is less than or equal to this card's, you can discard 2 cards: Take damage equal to this card's ATK, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to half their attacking monster's original ATK, also Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position.]
4) Predaponics
5) Rokket Synchron

Rokket Synchron
Level 1 | DARK | Dragon | Tuner | Effect
0 | 0
When this card is Normal or Summoned: You can target 1 Level 5 or higher DARK Dragon monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position, negate its effects, destroy it during the End Phase, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except DARK monsters. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was destroyed on the field by battle or card effect and sent there this turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Rokket" monster from your Deck, except "Rokket Synchron". You can only use each effect of "Rokket Dragon" once per turn.

OK then, you got the standard Rokket float thing and now it can also trigger on Special Summoning too (though it would not do you much good to trigger this when Rokket gets summoned during EP).

Just remake Spiral Spear Strike, I guess.

(Not coming up with new ideas right now due to time at writing)

Spiral Spear Strike
Continuous Spell
If your "Gaia The Fierce Knight" or "Gaia Knight" monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. Once per turn, if your "Gaia The Fierce Knight" or "Gaia Knight" inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can activate 1 of these effects;
● That monster can make a second attack in a row.
● Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls.
● Draw 2 cards, then discard 1 card.

Expanded it to include the new Gaia the Fierce Knight stuff, also giving choices on what you can do after your monster nicks the opponent (no matter how it happens).

====

1. Borrelguard Dragon
2. Megalith Promotion (Does nothing for the Deck)
3. Hieratic Dragon of Asar / Sutekh (pick either one, because neither of these two are actually doing anything for the Deck)
4. Elemental HERO Nova Master

Guess I'm doing my own prompt again, so...let's do 3B.

Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh
Level 8 | LIGHT | Dragon | Effect
2800 | 2000
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 3 "Hieratic" cards with different names you control and/or from your GY, except "Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh". Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 Dragon monster you control or from your hand; destroy 1 card on the field. If this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon Normal Monster from your hand, Deck or GY, but make its ATK/DEF 0.

Change log:
- Special Summon condition isn't making it a Nomi (and you can summon it via Supremacy if you have to), but it is locked to Hieratic stuff. Of course, you have Seal from the Ashes to return them so... (And yes, you can also banish the dead backrow if you need to)
- Can Tribute from hand now (to trigger everything)
- Floats like the other Main Deck, barring Asar for now.

Oh right, and also gets a +1 from Rejuvenation.

====
Next batch of cards to choose from.

1. Shooting Star Dragon - T.G. Expansion (protection is okay, but the hard OPT effects should be something better.)
2. Hieratic Dragon of Asar (let's make it actually workable in its own Deck; I just fixed the other one)
3. Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine (Konami, explain why the fuck I'm going - 6 for this if I can't attack directly and can get Kaiju'd)
4. U.A. Playmaker (sucks more than the UH football team a few years ago [yes I said it; they were trash]; big body, but only stat manipulating)
5. Grizzly, the Red Star Beast OR Stardust Divinity (aka revamp the Match Winners into something decent; remember the latter is part of Yusei.dek so...)

U.A. Playmaker
EARTH - Level 8 - Warrior/Effect - 2600/2000
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Playmaker". You can only Summon "U.A. Playmaker" once per turn this way. Once per turn, if another "U.A." monster you control attacks: You can have this card lose 800 ATK, also the attacking monster gains 1000 ATK and the following effect:
●If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle: Banish the opposing monster, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 "U.A." monster from your hand or Graveyard. A monster Summoned this way is destroyed during the End Phase.

Changelog:
●Soft OPT, but now you can't miss timing.
●The attacking monster actually gains more ATK than Playmaker loses, meaning that two Playmakers that stay on the field can buff each other bit by bit.
●The monster that gains ATK by Playmaker's effect also gets to banish anything it kills in battle and extend a play or two.

1) Gravekeeper's Vassal
2) Amazoness Willpower
3) Battle Eater (see above)
4) Predaponics

Amazoness Willpower
Normal Spell
Target 1 "Amazoness" monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Attack Position. You take no battle damage from battles involving that monster.

Simple enough revival that protects you from battle damage (if that monster battles).

====
1. Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine
2. Stardust Divinity (let's actually make this work for Yusei.dek)
3. Gate Blocker
4. Rogue of Endymion

Out of ideas for cards I want to remake, so...yeah

Stardust Divinity
WIND - Level 10 - Fairy/Synchro/Effect - 3000/3000
1 Synchro Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
[b]If this card is Synchro Summoned, or Special Summoned by its own effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower "Stardust" or "Warrior" Synchro monster from your Graveyard. If your opponent activates a card or effect from their hand or Graveyard, you can Tribute this card (Quick Effect): Negate the activation, and if you do, banish it. During the End Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard because it was Tributed to activate this effect this turn: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is used as Material for a Summon, except a Synchro Summon: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, and if you do, you can also Special Summon 1 Level 10 "Stardust" or "Shooting Star Dragon" Synchro monster from your Graveyard, except "Stardust Divinity". You can only activate this effect of "Stardust Divinity" once per turn.

I guess now Battle Eater gets that fix.

Battle Eater
Level 10 | DARK | Spellcaster | Effect
2500 | 0
You can send 2 monsters with different names from your hand or field to the GY; Special Summon this card from your hand. When an opponent's monster with less ATK than this card's declares an attack: You can send this card you control or from your hand to the GY; negate the attack, and if you do, end the Battle Phase. During the End Phase, if this effect was activated (and was not negated): You can pay 1000 LP; Special Summon this card from your GY.

Obvious fixes.
- Special Summon condition so it actually does something to warrant not being a dead draw
- Doesn't have to be direct attack anymore
- No burn damage
- Can revive itself with a 1K LP cost. (Isn't this better than losing 2500?)

1. Shooting Star Dragon - T.G. Expansion
2. Xtra HERO Dread Decimator
3. Any of the Numeron gates. (If you want to do all 4 of them at once b/c copy and paste, that's fine)

Going to bump this up with what I did with T.G. Expansion.

Shooting Star Dragon T.G. - Expansion
Level 10 | WIND | Dragon | Synchro | Effect
3300/2500
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1+ non-Tuner Synchro Monsters
When a card effect is activated that targets or destroys a monster(s) you control (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 Tuner from your GY; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. Once per turn, when an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can negate the attack. During either player's Main Phase, if this card is banished or in your GY (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 Synchro Monster; Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Shooting Star Dragon T.G. - Expansion" once per turn.

Changes:
- Can negate all targeting and destruction attempts instead of just for monster targeting.
- Soft OPT on attack negation.
- Can summon self during either Main Phase or banished; cost lowered

Of course, I probably just broke the hell out of it now, especially with new MR4 on the horizon, so...I suppose now the Synchro requirement makes some sense. You tell me...

=======
1. "Numeron" Gates (just pick 1 of them, I guess)

Let's bump this up and do Borrelguard (for once)

Borrelguard Dragon
Link 4 | DARK | Dragon | Link | Effect
3000
N E S SE
3+ Effect Monsters
Cannot be destroyed by card effects. Once per turn: You can send 1 card from your Spell & Trap Zone to the GY; Special Summon 1 monster from either GY, but negate its effects. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster on the field; return it to the hand. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation.

Change log:
- It's basically a Monster Reborn now for anything (instead of having to get it destroyed that turn)
- The SS4 effect now bounces to hand instead of battle position; you know, because Links can't go to Defense Position.

Then again, it wouldn't really matter on the second since you're supposed to target your Rokkets and trigger shit anyway.

1. Bellcat Fighter
2. Rank-Up Magic - PK Launch
3. Rage with Eyes of Blue

(Well, Launch got taken off the list because Azathot got banned, so no need for it to be revised...yet)

So let's do Bellcat Fighter then.

Bellcat Fighter
Link 3 | WIND | Machine | Link | Effect
2200
N W E
2+ monsters, including a Token
When this card, or a monster it points to, destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can Special Summon 1 "Bellcat Token" (Machine/WIND/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 2000). Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects while you control a Token. If this Link Summoned card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 WIND Machine monster from your GY, except "Bellcat Fighter".

Change log:
- Buffed ATK to 2200
- Allows for anything it's pointing at to get the effect off too.
- Special Summons in Attack if you really need to.
- MPB protection effect, since this is related to them
- Floats when it dies, so...get back Auroradon, Dracossack or whatever you need.

Let's remake Armityle
Reply
#54
I should probably refrain from making this, since Sacred Beast deck coming in 2 weeks but to hell with it.\

Armityle the Chaos Phantom
Level 12 | DARK | Fiend | Fusion | Effect
5000/5000
"Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" + "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" + "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms"
Must be Special Summoned by banishing the above cards you control (You do not use "Polymerization".) Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. Once per turn: You can banish all monsters your opponent controls face-down. If this card leaves the field: Special Summon 1 each of your banished "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" and "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", ignoring Summoning conditions.

Yeah, it doesn't go up to 10,000 ATK anymore, but now it's a solid 5K and has protection / its anime effect / floating. Honestly, no one cares about a 10K beater that is only live during the user's turn.

Of course, now you can't float it back but it gets back the original Sacred Beasts if you need to. Come to think of it, this could be a retrain for it as well.

============
1. Go remake any card made for Rush Duels into something for Master Duels (and a relevant effect to fit our meta)

2. Any DM to 5Ds card used in Decks without too much synergy. (You can go the route of what happened with Catapult Turtle / Level 5 Dragons, etc)

Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
DARK - Level 4 - Spellcaster/Effect - 1800/700
If a card(s) is sent to your opponent's Graveyard with the same name as a card already in their Graveyard (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard). You can only Summon 1 "Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer" per turn this way. DARK Spellcaster monsters you control gain 100 ATK for each of your opponent's banished cards. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can banish up to 2 [b]cards[/] from your opponent's Graveyard. Your opponent cannot banish cards from either Graveyard.

Changelog:
●Neat new Summoning condition that makes putting an extra copy of a 2 or 3-of into your Graveyard potentially hazardous.
●Minor stat boost for DARK Spellcasters to give this synergy with something; in this case, Dark Magician support and Altergeists.
●missing timing was a shithead idea
●Why only monsters? Now you can banish any two cards, making this vaguely function against Sky Strikers sometimes.

1. Gravekeeper's Vassal
2. Uria, Lord of Searing Flames (the anime version was able to revive by discarding a Trap, could use face-down Traps [of any Type], and got a 1K boost for literally any Trap . . .)
3. Genex Doctor
4. Predaponics
5. Chobham Armor Dragon
Reply

I thought I already remade Uria...

But I can modify the other ones.

Genex Doctor
Level 3 | DARK | Spellcaster | Effect
1500/1000
Once per turn: You can activate 1 of the following effects;
● Send 1 "Genex" monster from your hand or Deck to the GY, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it.
● Declare a Level from 1 to 8; all "Genex" monsters you control become that Level until the End Phase, also you can only use "Genex" monsters you control as material to Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn.

Now you do not have to rely on having Controller; you can just mill any Genex you want. Or you can go Rank 8 in Genex now if you really have to, though be warned that doing so will hard lock you into using only arch monsters.

Dark Rabbit
DARK - Level 4 - Beast/Effect - 1100/1500
If this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 Toon monster and 1 "Toon" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Dark Rabbit" once per turn. If this card is targeted for your opponent's attack or card effect while your opponent controls 2 or more monsters: You can change the target of that attack or effect to 1 face-up monster your opponent controls (except the monster that attacked or whose effect was activated).

Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon
Level 8 | WIND | Aqua | Effect
3000/1000
If you control 2 or more "Cloudian" monsters with different names, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no battle damage from battles involving "Cloudian" monsters you control. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. If this card battles an opponent's monster, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.

Change log:
- Can Special Summon itself with own effect
- Do not take battle damage from Cloudian fights (so...you can minus having to run Sanctuary, I guess)
- Can attack everything your opponent has, also opponent can't trigger anything.

Yeah, it loses the ability to switch DEF monsters to ATK, but...outside Superheavy, Shaddoll and other Flip decks, who plays stuff in DEF nowadays? Also Links still wouldn't give a damn anyway.

Buster Blader
EARTH - Level 7 - Warrior/Effect - 2600/2300
If your opponent Normal or Special Summons a Dragon monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. You can only Summon 1 "Buster Blader" per turn this way. The original ATK of your opponent's Dragon monsters becomes 0. This card gains 500 ATK for each Dragon monster in the Graveyard.

Changelog:
●Instantly comes down to fight any Dragon, which allows it to drop in at any point while you control Buster Dragon.
●Dragon monsters are now all but incapable of defeating Buster Blader in battle, which is good considering you're going to be making your opponent's entire board into Dragons. Plus, makes for fewer near-misses on OTKs.
●Gains ATK from Dragons in both Graveyards, meaning you're going to almost always be rocking 3100 with Buster Whelp in the Graveyard.

(inb4 that thing regarding Buster Blader and Dragonmaid Hauskee becomes canon, and then what?)

Super Conductor Tyranno
Level 8 | LIGHT | Dinosaur | Effect
3300/1400
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 2 Dinosaur monsters from your GY. You can Tribute 1 monster, then activate 1 of these effects. You can only use the effect of "Super Conductor Tyranno" once per turn.
● Destroy all monsters your opponent controls with equal or less original ATK than the Tributed monster had on the field, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each.
● Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Tributed monsterʻs ATK.

Obviously have to note that Ultimate Conductor is technically an upgrade to base Tyranno so I cannot go too crazy with it. But all I really did was give it an internal summon condition and better effects, though...you are locked into a hard OPT because of that. But otherwise, enjoy fueling Tyranno Infinity OTK, hehehe.
