Flash Flyer - Sakura+ Create a Link Monster +
Space Cruiser Digamma Aurora
Link 3 | WIND | Machine | Link | Effect
2500
SW S SE
2+ monsters, including a "Space Cruiser" monster
If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 3 "Space Cruiser" non-Link Monsters with different names (1 each from your hand, Deck or GY) to zones this card points to. You can only use this effect of "Space Cruiser Digamma Aurora" once per turn. If a "Space Cruiser" monster this card points to activates its effect, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response. If this Link Summoned card is sent to the GY: You can destroy all monsters your opponent controls with equal or less ATK than this card had on the field.

1. Link for any of my designs. (Note that all of my AGM stuff is here, as are several of my regular archetypes that weren't products of the AGM games)
2. Pick any archetype/series that doesn't need a Link, but actually needs it to be playable again.
3. Requires 6 monsters to summon (so yeah, this basically locks you to a Link 6 through 8 monster, and requires that you didn't get Extra Linked)
4. Forces your opponent to pay additional costs to activate card effects.

Guess I'm making my own support again.

Raika the Support Flash Blossom Reindeer
Link 2 | LIGHT | Beast-Warrior | Link | Effect
2000
SW SE
2 "Flash Blossom Reindeer" monsters
If this card is Link Summoned: You can take 1 "Flash Blossom Reindeer Victory Mountain - Lanakila" from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or activate it in your Field Zone. You can only use this effect of "Raika the Support Flash Blossom Reindeer" once per turn. While you control this Link Summoned card, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of a "Flash Blossom Reindeer" card or effect in your possession.

(Someone's gotta search out the Field Spell and make sure the opponent isn't chaining on you)

Also yes, I technically made 2 Links for them already off-site, but those were just Link Pendulum tests and not necessarily practical (or even doable in current Yugioh mechanics).

1. Requires Trap Monsters as material
2. Pick any archetype/series that doesn't have a Link, but actually needs it to be playable again. [Think the previous wording was confusing]
3. Requires 6 monsters to summon, so yeah, this basically locks you to a Link 6 through 8 monster, and requires that you didn't get Extra Linked. (Or you can use the opponent's monsters and/or stuff in hand somehow)
4. Forces your opponent to pay additional costs to activate card effects.

Eternal Anguish Monolith
DARK - Link-2 - Rock/Link/Effect - 1000 - BL/BR
2 Trap Cards in the Monster Zone
While this card points to a Trap Card, it and the card it points to cannot be destroyed or targeted by your opponent's card effects. This card gains ATK equal to the original DEF of a monster it points to. If this card, or a Trap Card you control, inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 Trap Card with "This card is also still a Trap Card" in its card text from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can Set 1 face-up Continuous Trap Card you control; negate the effects of 1 face-up card your opponent controls. If this Link Summoned card is sent to the Graveyard, you can return this card and any number of Trap Cards with different names from your Graveyard into your Deck (min. 2): Gain 1000 LP for each card returned this way, then draw 1 card.

1) Gain advantage off of battle floaters in some way.
2) Create a Link that has an effect that benefits from being used as Fusion Material.
3) Create a Link-2 or lower boss monster that acts as a "fart out boss" button for a Deck that struggles to reach its boss.
4) Look at old cards that have Counters that are only used for themselves, and give them a friend that also uses those same Counters.

A quick look at EDOPro for cards using counters yields Card Guard as one card with stuff only used for it (least far as I care to check right now)

Citadel Card Guardian
Link 3 | DARK | Fiend | Link | Effect
2400
NW W E
2+ monsters
If this card is Link Summoned: Place 1 Guard Counter on this card for each monster used for its Link Summon. Gains 300 ATK for each Guard Counter on it. You can target 1 other face-up card you control; remove 1 Guard Counter from this card, and if you do, place 1 Guard Counter on that target (if that card would ever be destroyed, remove 1 Guard Counter from it instead). Once per turn, when a face-up you control with a Guard Counter is targeted by an opponent's effect (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation of that effect, and if you do, destroy it.

Or more like an evolution of Card Guard, but meh, it counts.

Also yes, this is basically a Guardian monster by name, but it's a generic name at this point so shouldn't be doing much.

1. Needlefiber/Halqifibrax for non-Tuners
5. Requires 2 LIGHT monsters as material

Pick 1 of the themes, but you can do more if you're able to.

High Empress Archfiend
FIRE - Link-2 - Fiend/Link/Effect - 1500 - L/R
2 Fiend monsters
Once per turn, during the Standby Phase, pay 500 LP or destroy this card. Once per Chain, if you pay LP (Quick Effect): You can increase the ATK of all "Archfiend" monsters you control by the amount of LP paid. If you roll a six-sided die for the effect of an "Archfiend" monster (Quick Effect): You can negate the effects of 1 card in the appropriate column on your opponent's field, counting from the left (6 being the Field Zone). If this card, or an "Archfiend" monster it points to, attacks: You can roll a six-sided die, and apply the appropriate effect depending on the result:
●2: Gain LP equal to the attacking monster's ATK, then, if your LP are 3000 or more higher than your opponent's, you can draw 1 card.
●5: Banish 1 card from your opponent's face-up field, or 2 from their Graveyard.
●1, 3, 4, or 6: At the end of the Damage Step, if the attacking monster inflicted battle damage to your opponent, you can Special Summon 1 "Archfiend" monster from your hand or Graveyard that includes rolling a die as part of its effect whose ATK is less than or equal to the amount of damage inflicted.

1. Make a Link that makes battle floaters worth using.
2. A Link that benefits off of being used as Fusion Material.
3. A Link-2 or lower that functions as a "boss now" button for an archetype that struggles to reach its actual boss (or for an old boss that isn't worth using given the effort it takes to Summon)
4. Create another Link monster who gains effects depending on the number of cards in Linked Zones (similar to Tri-Gate).

I'll probably do option 4.

2+ monsters with different names, except Tokens
This card gains these effects based on the number of monsters co-linked to this card.
● 1+: This card, and monsters this card points to, cannot be targeted by an opponent's card effects.
● 2+: This card, and monsters this card points to, cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, also you take no damage.
● 3: Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish up to 2 cards your opponent controls and/or in their GY, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each.

Yes, I know the design is lazy today, but reminder I'm doing this after work (and yeah, not really in the mood to go all out).

1. Needlefiber/Halqifibrax for non-Tuners. (You can make this for anything you choose, except Tuners.)
2. Forces your opponent to pay additional costs to activate card effects.
3. Pick any Type/Attribute that doesn't have a Link-4 or higher monster, and give them one. (Simple as that)

2+ monsters Special Summoned from the Graveyard
If there are more cards remaining in your opponent's Deck than in yours, this card gains ATK equal to the difference x100. Once per Chain, if your opponent activates a monster effect: You can make your opponent declare 1 card name. Add 1 card with that exact original name from your Deck to your hand, if possible, or, if you cannot, that effect is negated, and that card is shuffled into the Deck. If this card attacks: You can shuffle up to 3 cards from your opponent's Graveyard into their Deck.

1. Make a Link that makes battle floaters worth using.
2. A Link that benefits from being used as Fusion Material.
3. A Link-2 that functions as a "boss now" button for an archetype that either struggles to access its boss or whose boss takes too much effort to Summon consistently at this point.
4. A Greed Quasar-esque monster whose effect includes Links.

2+ monsters with different names
You cannot Summon/Set monsters to any Extra Monster Zone this card points to. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; move it to a zone this card points to. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Place a number of Gluttony Tachyon Counters on it equal to the destroyed monster's Level/Rank or Link Rating. If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, remove 4 Gluttony Tachyon Counters from it instead.

3. Acts like a way to summon a boss monster whose summon requirements are a pain to deal with in modern Yugioh.

Dimension Gladiator
DARK - Link-3 - Psychic/Link/Effect - 2000 - L/T/BR
2+ monsters with 2000 or more ATK and the same Type and Attribute
To activate a monster effect, your opponent must banish monsters from their Graveyard with the same Type and Attribute, but different names, from the monster whose effect would be activated (min. 1) whose total ATK is greater than or equal to that monster's, otherwise that effect is negated. Twice per turn, if your opponent would activate a Spell/Trap Card or effect: You can shuffle 2 of either player's banished cards into the Deck; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. While this card points to a face-up card, this card is unaffected by the effects of your opponent's cards of these same Type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as the cards this card points to.

Yes, Dimension Gladiator can potentially become a pseudo-Towers depending on what you set up this card pointing to, on top of making it so your opponent's first activated monster effect each turn is guaranteed to be negated.

1. A Link that makes battle floaters worth using.
2. A Link that benefits from being used as Fusion Material.
3. A Link-2 that just immediately plops the boss for a given Deck out, when it's usually a bit too much effort to Summon.
4. Generic FIRE Link

Fire King Avatar Rakshasa

2 FIRE Effect Monsters
When a Spell/Trap Card or its effect is activated while this monster is on the field (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy 1 other FIRE monster in your hand or field. You can only use this effect of "Fire King Avatar Rakshasa" once per turn. Once per turn, during your next Standby Phase after this card was destroyed by a card effect and sent to the GY: Special Summon this card from the GY.

Besides being part of an archetype, the effects are mostly generic, so i guess it passes.

N/C: Link Monster that benefits from being used as Fusion Material.

Predaplant Neecentipede
DARK - Link-2 - Plant/Link/Effect - 1000 - L/B
2 Level 3 or lower DARK monsters
Once per turn, for this card's Link Summon, if you control a face-up "Predap" Spell/Trap Card, you can use 1 monster your opponent controls with a Predator Counter as Link Material. If this card is Link Summoned, or Special Summoned by its own effect: You can add 1 "Fusion" or "Polymerization" Spell Card from your Graveyard, and if you do, place 1 Predator Counter on a monster your opponent controls (Level 2 or higher monsters with a Predator Counter become Level 1). If this card is used as Material for a Fusion Summon: You can target 1 Fusion monster you control; add 1 monster with the same Type and Attribute as the target, but whose Level is less than or equal to the number of Predator Counters on the field, from your Deck to your hand. If a Fusion monster you control is destroyed while you controlled it: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You can only activate each effect of "Predaplant Neecentipede" once per turn.

1. A Link that makes battle floaters worth using.
2. A Link-2 that essentially drops a specific boss monster, or specific range of boss monsters, onto the field. The boss monster(s) you choose should ideally be either too weak for the effort, or too much effort for even the solid effects involved.
3. Retrain one of the "Element" monsters (Element Dragon, Valkyrie, Magician, etc.), or give them a boss, as a Link.
4. Since Parshath, Breaker, and BLS all have Link retrains, give another Chaos-era favorite a Link monster that either supports whatever Deck it's being used in, or that replicates its old strategy in a new form.
