Sunshine Wyvern, Envoy of the Morning Light
LIGHT - Level 8 - Dragon/Ritual/Effect - 0/3000
Must first be Ritual Summoned using "Parade of Dawn". The first time your opponent Summons a monster each turn: You can shuffle 1 card on the field or in the Graveyard into its owner's Deck. A monster destroyed by battle with this card is shuffled into its owner's Deck, then, if that card was shuffled into the Main Deck of this card's original owner, draw 1 card. If a monster is shuffled into the Deck: This card gains 500 ATK.

Parade of Dawn
Ritual Spell
This card can be used to Ritual Summon "Sunshine Wyvern, Envoy of the Morning Light". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand to field whose combined Levels equal or exceed 8. While this card is in your Graveyard, if your opponent activates a card or effect by sending a card(s) in their hand to the Graveyard, you can shuffle 1 Level 8 LIGHT monster from your field or Graveyard into the Deck: Negate the activation, and if you do, shuffle that card into the Deck. You can only activate this effect of "Parade of Dawn" once per turn.

White Knight of Nighty-Nights
Level 8 | LIGHT | Warrior | Ritual | Effect
2800/2400
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Duality Dreams". This card is also always treated as DARK-Attribute. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can activate 1 of these effects.
● Negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent controls.
● Your opponent cannot activate face-down cards this turn.

Duality of Dreams
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "White Knight of Nighty-Nights". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 8 or more. While this card is in your GY, all "White Knight of Nighty-Nights" you control can activate both their effects in the same turn, also your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to their activation. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; banish 1 card your opponent controls; face-down.

Galdatta the World Eater
DARK - Level 1 - Fiend/Ritual/Effect - 0/0
You can Ritual Summon this card using "Pain of the World". Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. Each player only takes damage once per turn. If either player would take damage after the first instance of damage in a turn: This card gains ATK equal to the negated damage. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to select and activate 1 of the following effects (Quick Effect):
●Destroy all monsters your opponent controls with less ATK than this card.
●Each player can only activate 1 Spell/Trap Card or effect during their next turn. Continuous effects of Continuous and Field Spell/Trap Cards are negated during this time.

Pain of the World
Ritual Spell
Ritual Summon 1 DARK Ritual monster by Tributing exactly 1 monster you control whose Level equals or exceeds that monster's. After this card is activated, banish it. While this card is banished, gain 500 LP during each Standby Phase.

A Ritual monster that replicates the effects of 1 or more Link monsters, but exists as a counter to the mechanic.

Firewall Wyvern
Level 8 | LIGHT | Cyberse | Ritual | Effect
2500/2500
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Cynet Ritual". (Quick Effect): You can target monsters on the field and/or GY up to the number of number of monsters Link Monsters point to; shuffle them into the Deck. You can only use this effect of "Firewall Wyvern" once per turn. If this card in your possession is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Cyberse monster from your hand or GY.

(You know which Link I borrowed from. As for it countering the Link mechanic, I suppose you can consider the shuffling effect as stopping Links from doing their job.)

Make a Ritual for a Type that doesn't have one. So...a list:
- Machine
- Pyro
- Rock
- Plant
- Thunder
- Dinosaur
- Sea Serpent
- Reptile
- Psychic
- Wyrm

(I'm not counting Divine-Beast or Creator God)

Alchasqua, Supreme Divine Serpent
WATER - Level 8 - Reptile/Ritual/Effect - 900/2000
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Supreme Serpent Temple". This card gains 300 ATK for each Reptile monster in the Graveyards, and your opponent's monsters lose that same amount of ATK. Your opponent's monsters with 0 ATK cannot attack or be used as Material for a Summon. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 2 Reptile monsters from your Graveyard, except "Alchasqua, Supreme Divine Serpent". You can only activate this effect of "Alchasqua, Supreme Divine Serpent" once per turn.

Supreme Serpent Temple
Field Spell
When this card is activated: You can add 1 Level 6 or higher Reptile monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Supreme Serpent Temple" once per turn. Once per turn, you can Ritual Summon 1 "Alchasqua, Supreme Divine Serpent" from your hand or Graveyard by Tributing monsters whose combined Levels equal 8 or more from your hand or field. Level 8 or higher Reptile monsters you control gain 1 additional attack during each of your Battle Phases. If a Reptile monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
●Banish 1 random card from your opponent's hand.
●Draw 1 card.

Make a mini counterpart to a bigger Ritual.

Young Phoenix of Nephthys
FIRE ****
Winged Beast/Ritual/Effect
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Rebirth of Nephthys". You can only use each of the following effects of "Young Phoenix of Nephthys" once per turn.
- During your Main Phase: You can destroy the top 3 cards of both players' Decks. If a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell is destroyed by this effect, you can then destroy 1 face-up card your opponent controls, and if you do, add 1 Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from your GY to your hand.
- During your next Standby Phase after this card was destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY: You can destroy 1 card you control or in your hand; Special Summon this card from the GY.

Make a Ritual Tuner

(inb4 I do a Theseus here and just make it Ritual Foregone fodder...you guys remember it?)

Mystic Synchron
Level 5 | LIGHT | Machine | Ritual | Tuner | Effect
1200/2400
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Tuning Ritual". Once per turn: You can declare a Level from 1 to 8; you cannot Special Summon monsters except Tuner monsters or Synchro Monsters, also all other monsters you control become the declared Level. These changes last until the end of this turn.

Tuning Ritual
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Mystic Synchron". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field, or send Tuner monsters from your Deck to the GY, whose total Levels equal 5 or more. During either playerʻs turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can target 1 Synchro Monster you control; it is treated as a Tuner monster, also if that monster is used as material for a Level 10 or higher Synchro Monster, you can Special Summon 1 Synchro Monster from your GY, except a monster with the targeted monsterʻs name.

(Well, you can still Ritual Foregone it or tech this Ritual Spell to do whatever. You make a decision.)

Letʻs make a competent Beast or Beast-Warrior Ritual next.

(Super War-Lion is legit trash and Lycanthrope is only good in vanilla turbo)

Time to bump this up, I guess. (And yes, I'm going to make a Beast Ritual; not that I also need new ones for that Structure Deck idea I never finished on YCM, q_q)

R-Acceleranimal Tiger Emperor
Level 10 | FIRE | Beast | Ritual | Effect
3300/2500
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Acceleranimal Hypercharge". Must be Ritual Summoned. "Acceleranimal" monsters you control cannot be targeted or destroyed by an opponent's card effects, also they cannot be Tributed. Once per turn: You can activate this effect; cards in either player's possession cannot activate their effects, except "Acceleranimal" cards. If this card leaves the field: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Acceleranimal" monsters with different names from your hand or GY, except "R-Acceleranimal Tiger Emperor". You can only use each effect of "R-Acceleranimal Tiger Emperor" once per turn.

(Yes, Acceleranimal support was also permissible, and now I can say that I made another target for Hypercharge.)

Make a Ritual for a Type that has 3 or less of them. So, your choices are:
- Machine
- Pyro
- Beast / Beast-Warrior (here's another shot)
- Rock
- Plant
- Insect
- Thunder
- Dinosaur
- Fish
- Sea Serpent
- Reptile
- Psychic
- Wyrm
- Winged Beast (you have Shinobird Rituals and the boss Nephthys)

Everything else, barring Divine-Beast has more (yes, even Cyberse got more for crying out loud)

Colossus of Quartz
EARTH - Level 8 - Rock/Ritual/Effect - 1000/3000
Must first be Ritual Summoned using "Call to Gaea". If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can return a number of cards your opponent controls to the Deck up to the number of Rock monsters you control. Your opponent cannot Summon monsters from the Extra Deck unless all Materials used for that Summon are the same Type as the monster that they would Summon. During each Main Phase 2: You can Special Summon up to 2 of your banished Rock monsters in either face-up or face-down Defense Position.

Call to Gaea
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Colossus of Quartz". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed 8, OR send up to 3 Rock monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard whose combined Levels exactly equal 8. You can banish 2 Rock monsters from your Graveyard: Add this card from your Graveyard to your hand, then draw 1 card. You can only activate this effect of "Call to Gaea" once per turn.

In line with something like Malacoda, give an AGM archetype with no other Ritual-centric cards a Ritual monster that functions within everything the archetype does, and maybe even a Ritual Spell that benefits the archetype.

I'm just going to design a Ritual for my own stuff, not because I don't care for the rest of you, but moreso for following reasons.

Show Contenthere:

Anyway...

Sunbeast Iākua a ka Mōlehu
Level 8 | LIGHT | Beast | Ritual | Effect
2800/2000
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Sunbeast Heiau". This card is also always treated as DARK-Attribute while face-up on the field or in the GY. While you control 3 or more "Sunbeast" monsters, your opponent can only control 1 Type and Attribute of monster. Send all other monsters they control to the GY. If this card leaves the field by an opponent's card: You can Special Summon 1 "Sunbeast" monster from your hand, Deck or GY, except "Sunbeast Iākua a ka Mōlehu".

Sunbeast Heiau
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Sunbeast Iākua a ka Mōlehu". You must also Tribute monsters from your field or hand whose total Levels equal 7 or more. If your opponent controls a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, you can Tribute 1 monster your opponent controls for this Ritual Summon even though you do not control it. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent currently controls. You must control a "Sunbeast" monster to activate/resolve this effect.

(Sunbeast do floodgating and other things to make the opponent become unable to do stuff, so...here's Gozen/Rivalry in monster form.)

Also name translates to "jaguar of twilight" and "heiau" are usually temples.

Make a Saffira-esque monster for another Type / Attribute.

Mammon, Deity of Archerfiends
★★★★★★
DARK
Fiend/Ritual/Effect
ATK 2500
DEF 2400
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Chains of Darkness". During the End Phase, if this card was Ritual Summoned this turn, or if a Fiend monster was banished this turn while this card was face-up on the field: You can activate 1 of these effects;
● Draw 2 cards, then banish 1 card from your hand.
● Banish 1 random card from your opponent's hand.
● Special Summon 1 of your banished Level 4 or lower DARK monsters, in face-up Defense Position.
You can only use 1 "Mammon, Deity of Archerfiends" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Chains of Darkness
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Mammon, Deity of Archerfiends". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 6 or more. If a DARK Ritual Monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect while this card is in your GY, you can banish this card and 1 Level 3 or lower DARK monster from your GY instead.

N/C: A Level 7 "F.A." Ritual Monster.

F.A. Champion Racer
Level 7 | WIND | Machine | Ritual | Effect
0/2600
You can Ritual Summon this card with "F.A. Podium". Gains ATK equal to its Level x 400. Each time a "F.A." Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated: You can increase this card's Level by 1. If a monster would be Summoned (Quick Effect): You can reduce this card's Level by 2; negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy it. If this Ritual Summoned card leaves the field: You can Special Summon 1 "F.A" monster from your GY, except "F.A. Champion Racer".

F.A. Podium
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "F.A. Champion Racer". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 7 or more. While this card is in your GY, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of your "F.A." card effects. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; increase the Levels of all "F.A." monsters you control by 4.

Hunter Vixen
★★★★★
DARK
Beast-Warrior/Ritual/Effect
ATK 1800
DEF 1200
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Vixen Rites". If this card in its owner's control is destroyed by battle or by an opponent's card effect and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card to your opponent's field. While this card is on its owner's opponent's control, it cannot be used as a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Material for a Summon, it cannot be Tributed, also its ATK becomes 0.

Vixen Rites
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Hunter Vixen". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 5 or more. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Hunter Vixen" your opponent controls; send it to the GY. You can only use this effect of "Vixen Rites" once per turn.

Basically, Vixen, when destroyed while you owned it, it goes to your opponent's side, with it be unable to be used as a material or Tributed, and its ATK becoming 0.

N/C: A Ritual Monster that has something to do with turn count.

That can be arranged:

Aion, Deity of the Time Wheel
Level 10 | LIGHT | Fairy | Ritual | Effect
2500/2000
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Unbound Time". Must be Ritual Summoned. This card gains the following effects based on the turn count.
● 2 or higher: Gains 800 ATK.
● 4 or higher: Players can only Summon 2 monsters per turn.
● 7 or higher: Cannot be targeted for attacks.
● 10 or higher: Unaffected by card effects, except its own, also cannot be Tributed.
● 20 or higher: During the Standby Phase: Move the turn count down to 1, also banish other cards on the field.

Unbound Time
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Aion, Deity of the Time Wheel". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 10 or more. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY and pay LP in multiples of 500; increase the turn count by 1 for each multiple you paid.

I probably misinterpreted Aion's role as a time god, so...yeah. Hopefully I didn't.

I guess make a Ritual for a Type / archetype of your choosing that does not have a competent one by modern standards.

Abyssnake
EARTH - Level 8 - Reptile/Ritual/Effect - 2900/0
If this card is Special Summoned: You can destroy 1 card your opponent controls, then, if the destroyed card was a monster; this card gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK, also it can attack twice during this turn's Battle Phase. All monsters your opponent controls lose 200 ATK for each monster in your Graveyard. If this card is banished: You can Special Summon this card. You can only activate this effect of "Abyssnake" once per turn.

Tribute to the Temple of Snakes
Ritual Spell
This card can be used to Ritual Summon any EARTH Ritual monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose combined Levels equal the Level of the Ritual monster you Ritual Summon. You can banish this card and 1 "Abyssnake" from your Graveyard: Draw 2 cards, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 Reptile monster from your Graveyard.

Extend the story behind "Dragon Horn Hunter" and "Dragon Core Hexer".

3300/3000
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Dragon Blood Ritual". Gains 300 ATK/DEF for each Dragon on the field and in the GYs. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. During your Battle Phase, if you control an "Dragon Essence Martyr" that can attack, monsters other than "Dragon Essence Martyr" cannot attack. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was destroyed and sent there this turn: Pay 1000 LP; Special Summon it.

Dragon Blood Ritual
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Dragon Essence Martyr". You must Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 10 or more. If your opponent controls a Dragon monster(s) with a Level, you can Tribute those monsters your opponent controls as if you controlled them. During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your GY; all monsters on the field are treated as Dragon.

Infernal Rebirth
Ritual Spell
Ritual Summon 1 FIRE Ritual monster from your hand or that is currently banished, by Tributing monsters from your hand or field whose combined ATK is exactly equal to the ATK of the monster you would Ritual Summon. If you control no monsters, you can use up to 1 monster your opponent controls as Tribute this way. If "Infernal Divider" would be removed from the field by an effect, you can shuffle this card from your Graveyard into your Deck: Negate that effect, and if you do, destroy both the card whose effect was activated, and the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck.

Infernal Divider
FIRE - Level 7 - Pyro/Ritual/Effect - 3000/200
You can Ritual Summon this card using "Infernal Rebirth". This card gains 200 ATK for each of your opponent's banished cards. Once per turn, you can target 1 monster each on the field and in the Graveyard (Quick Effect): The target on the field has its ATK changed to match the target in the Graveyard, and, if both targets were the same Type; the target on the field's effects are negated, also banish it when it leaves the field. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Banish up to 1 each of a monster, Spell, and/or Trap Card from your opponent's Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Infernal Divider" once per turn.

Regardless of what the Ritual itself is, the Spell should be called "Canon in Cannons".

Arsenal Conductor
Level 8 | LIGHT | Warrior | Ritual | Effect
2400 | 2000
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Canon in Cannons". You can discard any number of cards, then target the same number of cards on the field, except this card; destroy them, then if you discarded 5 or more cards, monsters you control gain 2000 ATK until the end of your next turn. This card cannot attack the turn this effect was activated. You can only use this effect of "Arsenal Conductor" once per turn.

Canon in Cannons
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Arsenal Conductor". You must Tribute monsters you control or from your hand whose total Levels equal 8 or more. If you control no monsters, you can Ritual Summon by paying LP equal to the Ritual Monster's Level x 400, instead. If a Ritual Monster you control would be destroyed, you can banish this card from your GY instead.
