Flash Flyer - Sakura+ Create a Card Game (General) +
#41
Detonation Fusion
Normal Spell
Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by destroying Fusion Materials listed on it from your field, but destroy it during the End Phase of this turn. If this card is in your GY: You can banish 1 FIRE Fusion Monster from your GY; add this card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Detonation Fusion" once per turn.

Option #2. Let me know if Detonation Fusion is part of an actual theme or not.

N/C: Chains of Life (Continuous Trap)
Reply
#42
(Outside of the "Fusion"/"Polymerization" archetype, it isn't in any of the AGM's stuff)

Chains of Life
Continuous Trap
Target 1 monster in your GY; Special Summon it. That monster cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. During each of your Standby Phases, pay 800 LP or destroy this card. If this face-up card leaves the field: Destroy that target. If you control no monsters, you can activate this card from your hand.

(Sakura, why the hell did you powercreep Call of the Haunted? Because CoTH isn't seeing much use in 2019, especially in a low Trap format.)

Future Colors
Continuous Spell
Once per turn, if you Normal or Special Summon a "Fortune Lady" or "Fortune Fairy" monster: You can add 1 "Fortune Lady" or "Fortune Fairy" monster whose Level is exactly 1 higher or lower than the Summoned monster's original Level from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. If a Spellcaster monster you control attacks, all Spellcaster monsters you control with a different Attribute than the attacking monster gain ATK equal to the original Level of the attacking monster x100. Once per turn, if a "Fortune Lady" or "Fortune Fairy" monster you control destroys your opponent's monster by battle, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
●Reduce the Level of that monster by up to 6 (min. 1): Special Summon 1 "Fortune Lady" or "Fortune Fairy" monster from your hand or Graveyard whose Level is equal to that reduced amount.
●Reveal 1 Spellcaster monster in your hand and place it on either the top or bottom of your Deck: Draw 2 cards.

1) An "Archetype" S/T for the new "@AGM" wave, which rips off support a VRAINS-era archetype got.
2) Hyper-Ancient Brain Crusher.
3) High-Impact Energy Disks (look in the Spells section of the Generics thread to understand why)
4) Make a reference to another property Konami owns or licenses, besides just YGO (Castlevania, Metal Gear, Gurren Lagann, etc.)

True Rise Archetype
Continuous Spell
You can target 1 of your banished "AGM" monster or in your GY; Special Summon that target. If you Special Summon an "AGM" monster from the Extra Deck or GY: You can activate 1 of these effects;
● That monster is unaffected by your opponent's card effects this turn.
● Inflict damage to your opponent equal to its Level/Rank x 300 or Link Rating x 600.
You can only activate each effect of "True Rise Archetype" once per turn.

Nekroz of Firewall
Level 8 WATER Spellcaster/Ritual/Effect
2500/0
You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell. Must be Ritual Summoned, without using any Level 8 monsters. You can only use each of these effects of "Nekroz of Firewall" once per turn.
● You can discard this card, then target cards your opponent controls or in their GY, up to the number of "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters you control; return them to the hand.
● You can target 1 face-up monster on the field that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck; banish it, then you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Nekroz" monster from your hand.

Why Spellcaster? I was trying to keep it to the Type theming of the Nekroz monsters (Valkyrus is Level 8, I followed the Level = Link Rating x 2 formula for the Level, and DEF is 0).

Now, turn a Link-3 or Link-4 VRAINS anime Link Monster, and turn it into a Malefic of it (like, Malefic [something]code Talker, Malefic Borreload, Malefic Firewall, etc.)

Malefic Borreload Dragon
Level 8 | DARK | Dragon | Effect
3000/2500
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (From your hand) by banishing 1 "Borreload Dragon" from your Extra Deck. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster on the field; its ATK/DEF become 0. Cards or effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell on the field, destroy this card.

(And now you probably have a reason to boot Malefic Blue-Eyes out, because not wasting Main Deck space and actually does something. I was going to do Firewall Dragon, but since it's banned and Konami probably won't let it out without pissing off the playerbase, we got this.)

Shooting Nova Dragon
DARK - Level 12 - Dragon/Synchro/Effect - 3500/2800
2 Tuners, including at least 1 Synchro Tuner + 1 Dragon Synchro monster
Must first be Synchro Summoned using the above Materials. When this card is Special Summoned, you can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck: Send any number of excavated Tuners to the Graveyard, then send a number of cards on the field to the Graveyard equal to the number of Tuners sent to the Graveyard this way. This card gains 300 ATK for each Tuner in the Graveyard. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, and your opponent still controls a monster, you can banish 1 Synchro Tuner from your Graveyard: This card can attack again in a row. If your opponent activates the effect of a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can banish this card from your field or Graveyard; Negate that monster's effects and reduce its ATK to 0. During the End Phase of a turn this effect was activated (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this banished card, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 of your other banished Synchro monsters. You can only control 1 "Shooting Nova Dragon".

1) Hyper-Ancient Brain Crusher.
2) High-Energy Impact Disks.
3) Make reference to another Konami property.
4) Create an interesting, more balanced replacement for a banned card.

High-Energy Impact Disks
Continuous Spell
You can only control 1 "High-Energy Impact Disks". Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 9 LIGHT Machine monster from your hand, but you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of this turn, except Machine monsters.

Jam-Breeding Machine support.

Jam Breeding Program
Continuous Spell
While you control "Jam Breeding Machine", you can still Summon WATER and DIVINE monsters, ignoring the effect of "Jam Breeding Machine". Once per turn, if you Special Summon a WATER monster: You can Special Summon 1 "Slime Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 500). If you Special Summon a "Slime Token": Place 1 Slime Counter on this card. "Jam Breeding" Continuous Spell/Trap cards and "Slime Tokens" cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effects while there is a Slime Counter on this card, also WATER Tokens and DIVINE monsters you control gain ATK equal to their Level for each Slime Counter on this card.

1) Create a card that goes off harder the more copies of it you've used.
2) Create another "Jam Breeding" card.
3) Create support for Rokkets.
4) "Wings of Rebellion"

Wings of Rebellion
Equip Spell
Equip only to a DARK Dragon or Winged Beast Xyz Monster. It is unaffected by the effects of your opponent's monsters whose ATK is different from their original ATK. Once per turn, if the equipped monster has no materials: You can target 2 Level 4 or lower DARK monsters in your GY; attach them to the equipped monster as materials.

Make a card named after a Booster SP/Deck Build Pack that exists in the OCG (more like what they did with Light of Destruction, for example).

Duelist Genesis
Continuous Spell
When this card is activated: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Tuner monster from your hand or Graveyard. If you Synchro Summon, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects, but you can only activate each of these effects of "Duelist Genesis" once per turn:
●Special Summon 1 Synchro monster from your Graveyard with a lower Level than that monster.
●Shuffle up to 2 monsters from your Graveyard, or that are currently banished, with the same name into your Deck, then draw 1 card.

1) A card that becomes better for each copy you've already used.
2) Add to the above "Jam Breeding Machine" support.
3) "Rokket" support
4) Create a new (mostly) generic pseudo-replacement for an old banned card that we all know won't be coming back soon.

We're never getting Metamorphosis back so as long as stuff exists, so...

Monster Transformation
Normal Spell
Tribute 1 monster that has a Level; Special Summon 1 Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck with the same original Level or Rank as that monster, but its effects are negated until the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Monster Transformation" per turn.

Well, it's probably better than Metamorphosis because it can summon Synchro and Xyz too, though in light of that (and Level modulation exists), I have to specify original Level to prevent something like Gagaga Magician turning himself into a 8 for Crystal Wing. (Then again, other shit exists so...)

Clear Mind Synchro Dragon
WIND - Level 10 - Dragon/Synchro/Effect - 3300/2500
1 Synchro Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Synchro monsters
If there is another "Synchro Dragon" Synchro monster in your Graveyard, this card cannot be destroyed or targeted by your opponent's card effects. If this card battles a Special Summoned monster: Increase this card's ATK by the ATK of the opposing monster, until the end of the Battle Phase. Once per turn, if your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it, and if you do that and it is currently your Battle Phase or Main Phase 1, this card gains 1 additional attack this turn. Once per turn, if your opponent activates a card or effect that negates a card or effect (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, banish it, and if you do that, you can Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower WIND Synchro monster from your Graveyard. If this card negates the activation of a monster effect: This card gains ATK equal to the ATK of the monster whose effect this card negated, until the End Phase.

Now Yugo just needs a Synchro Tuner, preferably Level 3 so he can have Clear Wing be its other Material and guarantee it having its protection. Also, negating and banishing any negate-happy boss monster to boost this thing's ATK yet higher is kinda silly.

1) A card that improves the more of it you've used.
2) Support "Jam Breeding Machine", as above.
3) "Rokket" support.
4) "Hunter of Blades".

Let's do Rokket stuff.

Scatterokket Dragon
Level 4 | DARK | Dragon | Effect
1500 | 1900
When a Link Monster's effect is activated that targets this face-up card on the field (Quick Effect): You can destroy this card, then look through your opponent's Deck and banish 1 card from it. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was destroyed on the field by battle or card effect and sent there this turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Rokket" monster from your Deck, except "Scatterokket Dragon". You can only use each effect of "Scatterokket Dragon" once per turn.

(I got lazy and ripped over Silver, but now you have a way to snipe any 1-ofs in the Deck if needed. For tournament purposes, I guess use this to confirm if opponent actually is cheating or not b/c someone on Konami's judging team made the idea to discourage hand reveals and refuse to check suspicions.)

=====
Make legacy support for any character of choice.
(Also Draco, you get another excuse to make stuff for your pack)

Ruby Dragon
Level 4 | WIND | Dragon | Effect
1600 | 1300
If your LP are higher than your opponent's: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only Special Summon 1 "Ruby Dragon" once per turn this way. This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a Fairy monster. You can banish this card from your GY (except during the turn it was sent); add 1 "The Forgiving Maiden" and/or 1 "Marie the Fallen One" from your Deck to your hand, and if you do, both players gain 500 LP. You can only activate this effect of "Ruby Dragon" once per turn.

This was a nothing monster, so I gave it similar treatment as Juragedo and Flying Elephant.

Next:
Make a card that supports an archetype you like from the anime.

Buster Sentinel
Level 4 DARK Machine/Effect
2000/800
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) while you control "Beastborg Fusioner". If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Beast-Warrior monster in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Buster Sentinel" once per turn. Cannot attack unless you control a Fusion Monster.

Barrett's Beastborgs needed more Machines to use for his Fusion Monsters. And Beastborg Fusioner locks your Normal Summons.

Anyway, N/C: make a monster with ? ATK whose ATK is determined by methods that there was no precedent.

Name Eater
EARTH - Level 1 - Fiend/Effect - ?/?
If a monster(s) is sent directly from your opponent's hand, Deck, or Extra Deck to the Graveyard: You can select 1 of those monsters; Special Summon this card from your hand, with its original ATK and DEF equal to the number of letters in the selected monster's name x200. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle: The selected monster, and up to 3 other monsters on the field or in the Graveyard, have their name changed to "Nameless". Neither player can Summon or activate the effects of "Nameless", and "Nameless" on the field cannot attack or change its battle position.

1) A card whose effect improves the more copies you've used.
2) "Hunter of Blades".
3) Create a monster that essentially has a built-in critical hit mechanic.
4) Allow a bad or slow archetype that struggles with getting anything done to at least use one of its better cards more often, or a button that farts out their boss.

(One reason why we haven't done number of letters in names is because they will vary among different languages, and how do you explain it with hundreds of them. Unless it says Japanese name or something when written in romaji as a standard, you'll have a ton of nightmares)

Oh right, and I'm doing option 4 for Ice Barriers; least in the sense of getting all of their Dragons out faster (now that MR4 got revamped to let them go wild)

Dragonic Advent of the Ice Barrier
Quick-Play Spell
Reveal 1 WATER Dragon or Sea Serpent Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck; send 1 WATER Tuner monster and any number of non-Tuner WATER monsters from your hand or Deck to the GY whose total Levels exactly equal that monster's Level, including an "Ice Barrier" monster, then Special Summon that revealed monster. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.) Cards or effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this card, except WATER monsters.

Well, it does summon all of the Ice Barrier dragons, but also gets out Coral Dragon, Gishilnodon and that new Deep Sea Synchro. Hopefully that doesn't screw up something.

====
Now make an Extra Deck monster that can work with either being in the MMZ or EMZ (in light of the new rules which I should've pinged all of you for in the AGM Discord)

Elder of Morias
Rank 7 DARK Warrior/Xyz/Effect
2500/2400
2 Level 7 monsters
This card gains effects based on this card's location on the field.
● Extra Monster Zone: Once per turn, when a card effect is activated in the GY (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; negate the activation.
● Main Monster Zone: When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 material from this card, and if you do, your monsters in the Main Monster Zones cannot be destroyed by battle this turn.

Make a column-oriented non-Link Extra Deck Monster.

Scattershot Dragon
Level 8 | FIRE | Dragon | Synchro | Effect
2800 | 2400
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 monster on the field; move it to another Main Monster Zone. If your opponent controls a monster in the same or an adjacent column to this card: You can activate 1 of these effects. You can only use this effect of "Scattershot Dragon" once per turn.
● Destroy all monsters your opponent controls in the same or adjacent columns as this card, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the combined ATK of the destroyed monsters.
● Banish up to 2 random cards from your opponent's hand, face-down.

===
1. Legacy support for any archetype of choosing.
2. "Furry Chevalier @AGM" (Raven)
3. "Megalith Phul"
4. "Road to Tomorrow" (5Ds OP electric boogaloo 2)
5. Zoodiac Nagineko (Naginata + neko); the cat sometimes replaces the rabbit in the zodiac (I think in Vietnam or something, but yeah)
