So, I don't have the full idea for this archetype ready, but here's a basic rundown of effects for a concept in the absolute vaguest stages of conceptualization:
There's a shared effect for all Main Deck members of the archetype, where you have a HOPT Quick Effect where you can discard it to increase the ATK of an archetypal monster by their own original ATK- naturally, not a single Main Deck member of the archetype has 0 original ATK, but their ATK trends relatively low; I'd argue capping out at 1600 at the highest.Â
Continuous SpellÂ
If you Normal Summon an "Archetype X" monster: You can add 1 "Archetype X" monster with less ATK than the Summoned monster from your Graveyard to your hand. If an "Archetype X" monster you control destroys your opponent's monster by battle: You can Special Summon 1 "Archetype X" monster with 500 or less ATK from your Deck in Defense Position.Â
Field Spell
"Archetype X" monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF. When this card is activated, or if a monster effect is activated by discarding that monster: You can send 1 "Archetype X" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. If an "Archetype X" Link monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon a number of "Archetype X" monsters that have an original Level from your Graveyard, up to the sent monster's Link Rating -1. [HOPT ON ALL EFFECTS CLAUSE]
Archetypal Red-Eyes Insight
Archetypal Pot of Avarice
Archetypal Book of Life
Continuous Trap
Once per turn, you can shuffle 3 "Archetype X" Spell/Trap Cards from your Graveyard into your Deck: Special Summon 1 "Archetype X" monster from your Deck with 1000 or less ATK.
In the Main Deck:
â—Ancient Gear Box-style effect for archetypal monsters with lower DEF than its own
â—"If Summoned, SS archetype monster from hand/Graveyard"
â—Pankratops Summoning conditionÂ
â—Vayu the Emblem of Honor variant effect for archetypal Link monsters
â—Drop the ATK of your opponent's entire board by a specific amount every time the archetypal handtrap effects go off
â—Turns any archetypal Link monster made using it into an Airknight Parshath
In the Extra:
Link-2
Targeted OPT spin of an opponent's monster with less ATK than itself.Â
Link-2(3?)
Gains effects at specific ATK thresholds, but most of those effects are board protection.
Link-2(3?)
Twice per turn, if this card's ATK increases: You can destroy 1 card your opponent controls. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 monster from your opponent's Graveyard with less ATK than this card, then increase this card's ATK by 100 for each of your opponent's banished cards.Â
Link-4
Unaffected by the effects of your opponent's monsters with less ATK than this card. Once per Chain, if your opponent activates a card or effect: You can reduce this card's ATK by exactly 500; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.
