Flash Flyer - SakuraRegistration issue
#1
Good evening everyone (and well, late Happy Lunar New Year for those of you who celebrate this)

As I've probably reported back in April (thank you Octosquid for pointing it out at the time), the registration issue still exists, or more along the lines of "there should be a Privacy Policy confirmation on registration, but there currently is none".

Prior to this, there was the apparent HTML issue that caused unnecessary spacing and a bunch of HTML code like "br" in brackets (not writing it out b/c that would trigger the code), but supposedly registration was okay.

====
That in mind though, registration is still open, but just that you'll have to send registration requests via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page (or read the redirect forum) beneath Introductions or something like that.
====

Right now, I'm trying to go back through all the forum templates to figure out what might've gotten screwed over. Basically needed to make a temporary test forum so I have the unaltered templates to work with. If I find the ones that were edited completely, maybe that will solve the problem.

You may see some of the announcements at top disappear or something; that may be a consequence of "resetting" the templates to default.

If you run into any issues, please let me know on Discord (or here).

I'm likely dropping a support ticket on the CreateMyBB help forum to address the registration issue (with the Privacy Policy). You know, because in the interest of making it a bit more palatable for members to come here + not be totally reliant on me or Draco to make their accounts, this probably needs to be done.

On the other hand, yes, I'm aware that we've basically been running without an ad removal plan for a year (but we haven't gotten ads). I cannot be certain that Jon (the server admin) will be lenient about keeping us up or flat out removing it, even if I repeat myself multiple times that "the loss of ads was not done intentionally, and likely due to whatever happened with the random HTML".

Otherwise, in the worst case scenario, there is a Forumotion version of this site available, but I'm not really fond of it.
