A small, mostly brownish lizard that visibly has parts taken from one starter Pokémon of each Type- Charmander's arms, Treecko's tail, and Froakie's back legs. Its movelist seems pretty starter-esque, with a lot of Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Poison, Fighting, and Dark moves, with the addition of Dragon, Bug, Ground, and Rock coverage at higher levels.

Dex entry:
The result of the combination of gene splicing mixed with the fossil reviving process, these Pokémon have started popping up in remote areas. Behavioral data is still limited, but they appear to be mostly docile and skittish.

-> Lv. 28

A considerably bulkier brown lizard with large, expressive eyes, with a pronounced lower jaw. Like before, it seems to have loan parts from middle-stage starters- Charmeleon's arms, the twin leaves of Grovyle's tail, Frogadier's legs- however, they're not as obviously grafted to its body. It still keeps a pretty diverse movepool that reflects a middle-stage starter; Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Poison, Fighting, Dark, and a few Dragon moves, with a tiny bit of added Rock, Ground, and Fighting coverage, plus the elemental punches/BoltBeam.

Dex entry:
After the genetic information of the other Pokémon adapts more firmly to the incomplete fossil Pokémon, Polymonitor grow more comfortable with themselves, and with others. They are decidedly gregarious with their own kind, and even nervously approach humans given the opportunity.

-> Max. Happiness, with at least 1 each of a Fairy and Ice team member in the party

The brown, reptilian body has now regained some sleekness while still retaining solidity and bulk, and has fully integrated the outside genetics with itself- the Charizard arms are made longer and now have an extra digit, the Greninja legs are decidedly thicker snd lack webbing, and the Sceptile tail is smoother, with only small bumps as opposed to spikes. The movepool is rather shallow for a fully-evolved Dragon, but still has a decent selection of Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Dragon, Dark, Poison, and Fighting moves at its disposal, and now learns some solid Rock, Ground, and Psychic moves, but never the best of any of those Types. It still has limited Ice and Electric coverage, and a small repertoire of Ghost moves. It learns its signature move, Chaos Beam, at Level 62.

Dex entry:
These powerful Dragon-Types do not exist in the wild, but a few enterprising Trainers have, through extensive care, managed to help them fully assimilate the foreign DNA and become stronger for it.

Chaos Beam
DRAGON, Special, 90 BP, 100% accuracy, 10 PP. Ignores the target's stat changes. If the target stays in, it has a 30% chance of using one of its moves at random, as opposed to following its Trainer's commands. Fails when not used by Combinagon.

Fun fact: This thing was designed with the Skill Band, an item I crafted for a ROMhack, in mind. Essentially, with it, Polymonitor would be able to rock both Protean and Opportunist, changing Type at will for super-effective mini-nukes dropped on a dime.
